OliveMe Artsie = Beth Adams.
First, my business name might be confusing so let me explain. OliveMe stands for my middle name "Olive" and "Me" is for me and together they phonetically sound like "all of me." I do believe that "Artsie" speaks for itself.
I am a professional self-taught watercolor artist and instructor. I have been an artist for 20 years using a variety of mediums and have worked professionally since 2014. I specializing in whimsical organics with a fresh modern edge. I learned my skills through watching watercolor tutorials available for free from YouTube and SkillShare. After seeing the world through the eye of color theory and depth of color, I knew painting would be an important part of my life.
I was born in Portland, Oregon and have lived here my whole life, they call us unicorns because it’s so rear. Before my days as a watercolor artist I had a lucrative career as a Care Coordinator for the Elderly and Disabled and then in Retirement plans. Since leaving my conventional job, I started an Etsy shop, juried into an Artist Co-Op and now do local shows, markets, and bazaars. One of the most supportive and encouraging aspects of being part of the artist community is how much you can learn and support others. It has helped me to blossom as an artist and become a true entrepreneur.
My goal is to keep creating and learning while supporting my family financially. I desire to keep my art prices low so people everywhere can invest and enjoy. I offer a wide range of sizes and prints just for that reason. Please reach out to me if you have an idea, a thought, or a question. I am an open book. Let me be a resource.
Many Blessings to you and yours,
